Lulu

RIP, our sweet Lu.  Lizzy came to us after Hurricane Katrina.  She had a rough life before us!  Attacked by large dogs, she fought to live.  In December 2012, she began having seizures.  By spring if 2013, the seizures were no longer controlled.  She passed away the morning if the 2013 Cresent City Classic.  We loved her so much!

She was a lover and a fighter!  She warned our hearts and our laps...

Deuce and Reggie are great friends abc brothers!  Reggie drags Deuce around by his ear and Deuce hogs all the chew sticks!  We adopted Reggie after Lizzie passed away last March 2013.

Kokomo

We lost KOKO peacefully on a Thanksgiving morning.  We will miss him!  Always known as "the biter..."  Bad rap!  He was a sweet boy!

March 31, 2012 PRC Shotgun House Tour

We are so proud of our little house!  This Saturday, we will have 1,000+ people come through it to see how wonderful it is!  We are ready and EXCITED!

HIGH SCHOOL! DHS, LHS, NOCCAA-AS, and OMG!!!!

We are in the throws of choosing a high school!  Will it be the traditional Dominican?  The Academic and Artsy, LUSHER...or the very artsy and cool, NOCCA?

We've gotten accceptance letters from DHS and Lusher.  Sophie has her audition at NOCCA on March 2.  Hopefully ny Mid-March, we'll have a decision and a plan for the next 4 years!

Keep your toes and fingers crossed that another choice doesn't make it in the mix!!!

This is our second dove family this year to habe their babies in our fern!  The first set was in April and this family has been nesting since late May!  We have fine Dove accomodations!  We come highly recommended!

The day began with Sophie cooking us breakfast. Cheerios and milk, juice, strawberries, cinnamon rolls and biscuits! It was so nice. The stool next to the stove was Soph's first cooking casualty! A fun memory and a lesson learned..."the whole oven rack does not have to come out of the oven to take the biscuits out..."
